Dunken Golf Cart Driver Has Homicide Charge Dismissed

golf-cart-news A motor vehicle homicide case has been dismissed against an Omaha woman accused of driving a golf cart drunk and killing a friend.

Kim McIllece was up against a homicide charge along with drunk driving. Her attorney was quoted as saying there was not enough evidence to support the charge. The appointed judge for the case in Sarpy County agreed and dismissed the charge.

60yr old Debbie Deines died in the accident on the Tiburon Golf Course back in May. Prosecutors clain that McIllece was driving the cart that crashed down a drainage ditch. It was also said that her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

McIllece’s attorney states that they will also try to fight the drunken driving charge.
