Technically Cushman is not owned by EZGO brand golf carts. They are both now owned and run by the Textron conglomerate based out of Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
Textron has is hands in many different fields. The now own and control carts and car manufactures, E-Z-Go, Cushman and Jacobsen. But they also own the Cessna Aircraft Company, Bell Helicopter out of Hurst, Texas, near Fort Worth, and the Beechcraft Corporation which is an USA manufacturer of general aviation and military aircraft.
A branch of the group is known as Textron Systems. It is an aerospace and defense development and manufacturing firm headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA. That company is a business unit of Textron Inc., which reported 2012 annual sales in the Textron Systems segment as $1.7.5 billion USA Dollars. The company as a whole brought in 12.237 billion USA Dollars in 2012.
