The golf cart capital of the south is Peachtree City, Georgia and is located in western Fayette County just south of the Atlanta metro area.
Peachtree City has a total area of 25 square miles and most of it is accessible by golf cart. Peachtree City provides a unique system of golf cart paths which meander across the town and give residents an alternative means of travel to almost any destination within city limits. These multi-use cart paths contain nearly 100 miles (161 km) throughout the city. Many schools and businesses have specially designated golf cart parking spaces.
